An Arkansas media personality, public speaker, and sports promoter who came to Arkansas at age seventeen to play football for the Razorbacks,David will discuss the state of the University of Arkansas football program. The cast consists of the Village Big Band, Voices Rising, and Spa City Tappers. Joining them will be Broadway veteran Jonathan Miele, who has worked with the likes of Bernadette Peters, Robert Preston, Carol Channing, and Gower Champion! TEF Entertainer Ken Goodman will be the show’s Master of Ceremonies as well as entertain. Allie Anderson of Hot Springs will perform. To kick off the evening, the Fun City Chorus will set the mood during a pre-show presentation beginning at 6:30 PM

Broadway Our Way celebrates great music from the Great White Way including old and new favorites from such shows as Gypsy, Rent, Damn Yankees, Showboat, Chicago, Jersey Boys, Grease, Funny Girl, and Les Miserables to name a few.

Join us at The Woodlands Auditorium for a live Performance from the famous Branson band, The Petersens. The Petersens are an American roots music band known for taking the music of the Ozarks to the world and bringing the world to come visit them in the Ozarks. They have toured throughout Ireland, Finland, Canada, Germany, UK and the United States, entertaining audiences with their tight harmonies and warm sibling humor.

The Petersens went viral online in 2019 when their YouTube videos gained international attention and have now reached over 200 million views. The band consists of four siblings, Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne, their mom, Karen, and honorary Petersen and dear friend, Emmett Franz. Tickets are general admission. Free Event! The best of Arkansas’s youth will be returning to the Woodlands stage for a concert. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Youth and Academy Orchestras will perform their annual concert on April 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Woodlands Auditorium. The concert is sponsored by the HS/HSV Symphony Guild. There is no charge for this concert. However, if you are coming to the concert from outside the Village, you will need a ticket to gain gate access. You can obtain this ticket on this website. If you are going to attend and you live in the Village, there is no need to print a ticket. Please join us for a delightful afternoon of excellent orchestra music.

THe Village Chorale invites you to their annual Spring Concert at the Woodlands Auditorium. This year’s concert is titled, DREAMS, which will bring to the stage visions of fantasy, aspiration, and prophecy with some excellent musical selections. You will enjoy everything from Johnny Mercer’s hit , Dream, to toe tapping number s like Dry Bones and John the Revelator. A Chorale concert is a multi-media performance as we use the screens to help bring the songs alive for our audience. We also feature a number of guest instrumentalists, this year featuring Alisa Coffey, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s principal harpist. General admission tickets are only $15.

Listen to author Kathy Sanders, featured on the Today Show, discuss her story and upcoming book release with a showing of the HBO Documentary film An American Bombing – The Road to April 19th. This documentary looks at the surge in political violence through the story of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, showing the roots of anti-government sentiment and its reverberations today, along with the emotionally charged warnings of those who suffered tragic losses in the deadliest homegrown attack in U.S. history. This is a free event at Woodlands Auditorium.

Join the Trails Committee along with the Parks & Recreation Department for the Annual Dam to Dam Hike. 9AM start at Balboa Beach Trail Head for the 10 mile hike. 10AM start at Grove Park for 5 mile hike. Celebrate with friends at DeSoto Beach after the hike with a post event social. Bring snacks & drinks and enjoy comraderie and friendship with your fellow walkers. OSS presents Tom Holland -True Crimes and War Dead: The World of Forensic Anthropology. Tom will be taking a bird’s-eye view of forensic anthropology, including the identification of the unknown soldier from Vietnam who was once buried in the Tomb of the Unknown Soldir at Arlington National Cemetery as well as the identification ofTsar Nicholas Romanov and his family. Hot Springs Children’s Dance Theatre Company Is a local nonprofit organization which offers young local artists the opportunity to perform alongside professional guest artists from the mainstream professional ballet world. These gifted professional artists will both inspire and entertain. 

Join us at Balboa Pavilion for the Stars and Stripes Fun Run and Walk. Run is 5k and the walk is 1k.

Check in starts at 6:30a and the Run begins at approximately 7:30a. Age groups are 29 and under, 30 to 49, and 50+. All participants must sign a waiver. A limited number of shirts will be available on site for sale. Size and quantity cannot be guaranteed. They have to be taken off sale online for production on the 23rd of June. Event parking at Balboa lake beach. The 5k will be an out and back starting at the Balboa Lake spillway trail and cut through the residential area at Promesa lane. The 1k fun run/walk will utilize the first 500 meters of the 5k course. Registration is $20. Shirts can be ordered seperately.

Free fishing derby for kids at Lake Cortez pavilion, stocked by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and sponsored by HSV Parks and Recreation, HSV Lakes Ecology and HSV Anglers Club. A limited amount of fishing poles will be available for use. Please bring your own fishing pole if you have one. The derby will end at approximately 10:30 AM. Registration / ticket is not required for members or member guests. If you live outside of Hot Springs Village and would like to participate, call 922.5790 for a link to receive your free ticket.
